Myanmar’s ousted leader Suu Kyi moved to solitary confinement in prison

Myanmar’s deposed leader Aung San Suu Kyi has been moved to “solitary confinement” in a prison in the country’s capital Naypyidaw, the military said on Thursday. The 77-year-old Nobel laureate was arrested when the military ousted her elected government in February 2021. For the past year, Suu Kyi had been under house arrest at an undisclosed location in Naypyidaw.
